◆ Job Position : Financial controller – Internal Finance
⊙ Job Purpose: The financial controller is a key role of the Internal Finance department of the region focusing on Korea 
   and ensures that all financial matters are handled in the sub-region countries. This role ultimately reports to the market Finance director 
   which falls under the scope of the Regional CFO APAC. You will even work closely with the Global financial control and FP&A team. 
   The role will require high level of knowledge and understanding of global and local processes including statutory requirements 
   such as group reporting package, financial statements and corporate income tax. 
 
⊙ Key Responsibilities: 
 - Act as Chief Accountant of the Korean entities; 
 - Responsible for knowing critical function of the department; 
 - Capable of mentoring and assisting employees within the department; 
 - Monitor the compliance with VAS and group reporting requirements. 
 - Work with internal and external auditors, global finance team, bankers, tax authorities and other authorities when required; 
 - Implement and improve the accounting procedures to ensure integrity of all financial information; 
 - Review, investigate and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports; 
 - Adhere to internal and external deadlines; 
 - Assist in annual budget and reforecasts; 
 - Assist in the payment process via internet banking system; 
 - Review and approve tax returns, accounting records and financial statements; 
 - Work with the Regional finance team to implement/define the Regional priorities aligned with TMF group; 
 - Act as the go-to and first in-line escalation person for country finance teams within the sub-region; 
 - Provide recommendations to Regional finance based on financial analysis and projections, cost identification and allocation, and revenue/expense analysis; 
 - Liaise and coordinate with Sub-regional MD’s/Country FD’s and regional finance. 
 
⊙ Key Requirements: 
 - Degree holder with full recognized accounting/finance qualification; 
 - A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in CPA firms or multinationals firms; 
 - Understanding of local requirements is a pre; 
 - Excellent leadership skills; 
 - Detail-oriented and well-organized, problem-solving skills; 
 - MS-Word, Excel Experience required; 
 - Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
